Joe & Hev Talbot visit again

April 13, 2009 by Genesis Leave a Comment

Joseph & Heather Talbot who were our very first international volunteers have visited us again.

They arrived Cameroon on April 10, 2009 for a two-week visit.

This time, they are not volunteering but just visiting their many friends that they made while in Cameroon.

We also want to thank them for a donation of 200 pounds from Heather’s Church, Kidlington Baptist Church to support our School PCs Project.

Thank you Joe & Hev, also for your donation of a refurbished pentium 4 Laptop badly needed for our work here. Thank you to  Kidlington Baptist Church for their continues support of our community impact efforts.

HINT gets a new website

April 12, 2009 by Genesis Leave a Comment

As you might have already noticed, Helps International now has a new website. The new website runs on a WordPress template donated by Brian Gardner, CEO of Studiopress.com.

Genesis Tinshu has been responsible to stetting up and theme at the new site and doing all the tedious transfer of material from the previous website to the new one. If you cannot find something that was previously available on the former website please just contact us to let us know and we will help you get the material.

Thank you so much Brian for your generosity.

Enabling Clean and Safe Water Supply

April 11, 2009 by Genesis 7 Comments

Many communities rely on untreated stream water and often result in several diseases. We would like to help such communities with water purification systems in order to prevent water-borne disease.

We are currently working on providing clean water to the inhabitants of Bonduma village. We are partnering with Engineers Without Border (EWB) in the UK on this project. We are currently at research level.

Click here for detail on the Safe Water Supply Project

If you concern is enabling poor communities get access to clean water, then you can join us on this project. Contact us for more information.
