How is the Helps Fund funded?
The primary source for this fund is HINT Cameroon. Statutory reserves from all our projects go into this fund. Other donors to this fund include:
- Individuals
- Families and family trusts.
- Companies
- Donor Agencies (governmental and non-governmental)
- Other non-profit organizations such as Churches, ministries.
What is the Helps Fund used for?
The Fund has a multifaceted use. It is use to:
- Initiate self-reliant projects for graduates from our Halfway Home Training Centres as well as other poor people in the society.
- Provide school fees to children from poor rural families
- Provide scholarships for high school graduates to attend university.
- Provide portable water, through digging wells,
- Establish basic health units in villages.
- Help battered marginalized females in our society to regain social and economic stability.
- Establish schools for children from very poor, subsistence-farming families.
