CECs provide orphans and children from poor homes the opportunity to still have a dissent education despite their poor backgrounds.
Orphans and children from poor homes have no way of getting a good, descent and quality education. Most of them end up in government schools which are not good enough for them. In answer to this HINT has plans to set up a Community Education Centre in Buea that will offer quality education to those who cannot afford it.
